About 2,2 milliard kWh electric power was produced at the state energy system in March of the current year. About 2 milliard electric power  was generated by thermal power plants (TPP), more than 0,2 milliard was produced by Hydro power plants (HPP).

It was noted in the information given by Central Dispatch Institution of the Joint Stock Company to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC.

Beside it, electric power exchange was carried out with neighboring countries – Russian Federation, Turkey, Georgia and Islamic Republic of Iran.

As the source informed, about 6,5 milliard kWh electric power was produced during the I period of current year. By the way, about 5,9 milliard was generated by TPP, about 0,6 milliard was produced by HPP.
