More than 2,1 milliard kWh electric power was produced at the state energy system in February of the current year. From this capacity,  more than 1,9 milliard kWh electric power was generated by thermal power plants (TPP), more than 0,2 milliard was produced by  hydro power plants (HPP).

It was noted in the information given by Central Dispatch Office of the Joint Stock Company to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC.

Beside all of them, electric power exchange was carried out with neighboring countries – Russian Federation, Turkey, Georgia and Islamic Republic of Iran.

As the source informed, about 4,3 milliard kWh electric power generated during two months of the current year, from this capacity, more than 3,9 milliard kWh was produced by TPP, about 0,4 milliard was produced by HPP.
