“Khachmaz power plant”, one of the sources where was applying the most modern technology,   takes main part in supplying of northern regions with electric power. Put into operation of the power plant plays the main role in improving of electric power supply with quality and quantity, at the same time, increasing of stability of the system. Intended measures are carried out in the line of increasing of technical exploitation level, supporting of safety and economical work of the equipments.  As a result of it, all the aggregates are in good repair at the power plant. At present, the aggregates are operating in accordance to the dispatch graphic.

According to the information given by the power plant to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, about 39,2 million kWh electric power was produced in January of the current year at the power plant and it is 168 thousand kWh more than predicted.

Lets` noted that, about 338,4 million kWh electric power was generated against 332,5 million kWh during last year.

Under other information given by the source, the next technical service were carried out at engine – generators of the power plant during last three months, by the way, different setting repair work were implemented at the subsidiary  equipments.

By the way, fire safety is also in the center of the attention there as at other energy objects. So that, the territory of workshops, administrative  and subsidiary buildings  were cleaned of waste. At the same time, thermal isolation of fire extinguisher water systems were repaired.

The power plant consisting of 10 aggregates each power by 87 MW was put into operation in December 2006.
