About 2,2 milliard kWh electric power was produced at the state energy system in January of the current year. It was noted in the information given by the Central Dispatch Office of the Joint Stock Company to the Press – release of the “Azerenergy” JSC.

From this capacity more than 2 milliard kWh was generated by Thermal power plants (TPP), about 0,2 milliard was produced by hydro power plant (HPP).

Beside it, electric power exchange was implemented with neighboring counties – Russian Federation, Turkey, Georgia and Islamic Republic of Iran.

Lets` remind that, about 20 milliard kWh electric power was produced at the state energy system during 2011.
