Which achievement “Mingachevir HPP Chain” constructed in 2011 got ? What are technical – economical indicators of the enterprise, which type of work was carried out at hydro equipments?

According to the information given by mentioned enterprise to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, light producers were successfully finished 2011. All directions of the Central Dispatch Service were implemented. One milliard 14 million kWh electric power was produced during a year. More than 66 milliard kWh electric power was generated and transmitted to energy system during 57 years when   “Mingachevir HPP” was put into operation.

As the source informed, technical renewing is always in the center of the attention for long period exploitation of the chain. For this purpose, capital reconstruction was started at the enterprise since last year. At present, hydro units number 1 and 3 of “Mingachevir HPP” were totally ruined, parts of turbines were changed and list of deficit spare parts were   specified. All measures have been carried out for put into operation of turbine number 3. At the same time, disc shut of this  unit was fastened. The transformer by 200 MVA was put into operation instead of the transformer number 3 by 140 MVA.

By the way, head management shield was located at down of the building since it was constructed. Now, private building is constructing for it. Cellar and the walls of first floor have been already  built. Construction work is continued at the territory for construction of switch yard by 110, 22 and 330. Unfinished building work of mechanical repair corps were completed and last completing work are implemented  there.

It should be noted that, electric equipments  of two set cranes were put in order and changing of ropes is begun. Six set hydraulic technician  lifting and 6 set hydraulic technician   pumps were brought and their construction work is begun. Fifty ton crane was repaired at  down river-bed. In general, not only energy is produced but also equipments and installation are renewed.

As the source informed, all three hydro units were pulled down at “Varvara HPP”. Three work door were repaired at tail-water.

At present, repairmen  are busy with the turbines number 2 and 3. Project work is continued for preparing of  special square for assembling of new generators and new turbines. All equipments for two hydro units and s/s by 35 kV will be brought to the power plant in a few days.

It should be noted at the end that, parts of hydro unit number 1  of “Varvara HPP” have been already at the power plant.
