After repair of the state independence, it  was decided about construction of new generation power, by the way, construction of thermal power plant. As we know a big part of the republic consumer and the main production object is Absheron   peninsula. More than of the state electric energy is produced by this region. Construction of new energy blocks at old power plants was decided in order to deliver  fuel in much more quality way and use of subsidiary infrastructure. More than 1 milliard 936 million kWh electric power was produced at “Shimal power plant” during 11 months of the current year. And it is 6,6 million kWh more than predicted.

It was noted in the information given by the power plant to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC.

As the source informed, about 214,3 million kWh electric power was generated during last month of the current year and it is 260 thousand more than predicted.

Lets` also noted that, construction of the second energy block by 409 MW is started at “Shimal” PP LLC. Under other information given by the source, power of PP  will be two times increased and achieved to 809 MW after put into operation of the second energy block.
