About 1,5 milliard kWh electric power was produced at the state energy system in October of the current year.

It was noted in the information given by the Central Dispatch Office of the Joint Stock Company to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC.

From this capacity more than 1,3 milliard was generated by thermal power plants (TPP), about 0,2 milliard was produced by hydro power plants (HPP).

Beside it, electric power exchange was carried out among neighboring countries – Russian Federation, Islamic Republic of Iran, Turkey and Georgia during a month.

According to the information given by this source, about 16 milliard kWh electric power was generated at the energy system during 10 months of 2011 and more than 13,6 milliard from this capacity was produced by TPP, about 2,4 milliard was generated by HPP .
