Mr. Azer Amiraslanov, Azerbaijan Republic President’s Assistant for Agrarian Policy Issues – Chief of division, Mr. Ahmad Ahmadzade, Director of “Melioration and Water Economy” JSC, Novruz Novruzov Chief Executive of Shabran district and others took part in the ceremony.

Mr.Etibar Pirverdiyev, the President of “Azerenerji” JSC mentioned role of the project in energy supply of the country, importance of 25 MW Takhtakorpu HPP for north regions.

The President of “Azerenerji” JSC noted effectiveness of Takhtakorpu HPP, which meets all electricity demand of Shabran district.

The speaker said that increasing water level of reservoir up to projected volume, in other words to 83 m, will create opportunity for operating of Power Plant with full capacity.
