It is carried out complex measures for increasing technical operation level and economic indicator of equipment and power units in “Azerbaijan” TPP, which is the biggest thermal power plant in the South Caucasus and “Azerenerji” JSC with 2400 MW installed capacity and the eight power units, saving fuel and energy resources, preparing for autumn- winter seasons.

Sustainable and effective work regime of the plant is secured because of prophylactic testing and repairing according to technical requirement of configuration system. Production of electricity is going according to dispatcher schedule. Operational team does not allow any accident, which can cause damage or collapse of equipment.

According to technical-economic indicator of seven months of this year, forecasting amount realized in full. In this period, 4,6 billion kWh electricity has been produced and more than 873 million kWh produced only in July.

Generally, from the first day, December 1981, till now 300 billion kWh electricity produced in this plant.

Currently, enlargement works are continuing in fuel transport center of the plant, extra 6 fuel tanks are built. Consequently, number of tanks will reach to 18.

In addition, reconstruction started in 500 kW Open Switchgear with applying modern techniques.
