The energetics of Azerbaijan have celebrated their professional holiday. Staff of entities and organizations of Azerenerji JSC met with pleasure this significant day.

Firstly, staff visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honour, put wreath and flowers to the monument, at same time, paid homage to famous ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa khanim Aliyeva and placed fresh flowers on her grave. After that energetics visited to the Alley of Martyrs and paid homage to the memory of heroes died for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and put wreath in front of eternal flame.

After it, ceremonial event dedicated to professional holiday “Energetics Day” has been hold in conference hall of Head Office of Azerenerji JSC. 

In the event, Etibar Pirverdiyev, the President of Azerenerji JSC congratulated energetics in connection with their professional holiday, told about development stages of power engineering in Azerbaijan, noted exceptional merits of National Leader Heydar Aliyev for formation of independent power system of our country.

The member of Milli Mejlis Aydin Mirzazade made speech in the event and celebrated energetics with their professional holiday and noted that earlier he worked together with energetics.

After that, deputy chief of Central Dispatching Department of Azerenerji JSC, Head Dispatcher in his speech noted that energetic profession is important and honorable, and honorary title “Honoured engineer”given to him reflects kindness and care of State Leader not only to himself also to all staff. It has been read appeal of event participants to the President of Azerbaijan Republic,Mr. Ilham Aliyev.  

At the end, it has beendemonstrated documentary movie named “Towards strategic targets” about power system activities.

It should be noted that 20^th October – professional holiday “Energetics Day” has been established according to the Decree No. 446, dated 13.10.2004 of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
