INFORMATION OF PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PRESS SERVICE OF “AZERENERJI” JSC

In recent years, complex action for reconstruction of energy system of the state results in significant improvement in transmission of electricity and many works done for modernization of infrastructure. Essential performance was showed on transmission of electricity in nine months of 2017 year.
Specially,current equipment and facilities, regular inspection in high voltage lines, treating detected unfitness, and preparation processes for autumn-winter season known as core responsibilities.
In high voltage substations and transmission lines appropriate measures are being occurred in this direction. The most importantly, the system network, which has strategic function for electricity system, is in the spotlight. During nine months of current year, 10 kV close distribution unit of 3 autotransformers with 133 MVA were connected to the grid in the “Absheron” 500 kV substation. In 22o kV 7th “Absheron” air line, 2 capacity voltage transformers were set. 10 kV second section equipment: 10 kV oil circuit-breakers of autotransformer and 630kVA special transformer No.2 had been replaced with vacuum circuit-breaker cabinet, and cabinet of voltage transformer has been substituted with new one. In 330 kV “Imishli” substation, SF6s were started to install in 330 kV part of number 1 and 2 autotransformers with 240 MVA. At the same time,in 330 kV “Ganja” substation substantial repair have held in number 1 autotransformer, 10 kV close distribution unit of 220 MVA number 1 autotransformer connected to the grid, 10 kV tension transformer of 220 MVA number 1 autotransformer renewed. Bus bar disconnectors of 110 kV Agstafa I OHL at 330 kV Agstafa substation has been replaced with new ones. Insulators at I and IIo330 Kv busbar system has renewed. Surge arresters of 330 kV Agstafa 3 OHL has been replaced with new type surge arrester. Furthermore, busbar disconnectors, SF 6 circuit-breakers, surge arresters and other equipments at 220 kV Sangachal and Hovsan substations has been renewed.
It should be noted that during this period various repair works were carried out at Binagadi, Ramana, Gala Bina and several substations of 110 kV belonging to the Regional Electric Networks' balance sheet. In total, over 145 transformers, more than 510 sulfur (sf6), 480 oils and more than 410 vacuum circuit breakers were seriously repaired during this period.
To eliminate the shortcomings of the equipment, 225 transformers and automatic transformers, more than 700 different types of switches, 1520 vacuum cleaners, more than 760 voltage and current transformers were checked.
During this time, a new open distribution unit was built in the 110 kV transformer substations at the Mingechevir hydroelectric power plant, so the first and second power lines “Ganja” 110 kV, “Yevlakh” 1st and 2, the anchor and intermediate supports for the second "Sheher", the second part of the “Aghdash” line, passing through the 220 kV “Turyanchay” valley, has moved to a new 2.5 km radius. At the same time, the construction of the "Shimal Power Plant - Zabrat Substation" and " Shimal Power Plant - Hovsan Substation" of the 220 kV transformer center has been completed, construction of “Agdash” 3rd, 4th air lines at 110 kV has been completed, and air lines are connected to the network. Along with this, the construction of the 330 kV "Gardabani" air line in the duplicated version and the withdrawal of 330 kV "Third Imishli" from the "Ağ göl" continue.
The volume of work done on the Electricity Transmission Line is quite large. In total, more than 896 km of air lines have been revised over electricity transmission lines. As part of the repair schedule, about 11 000 400 insulators were replaced, more than 70 stands were replaced and about 30 repairs were repaired.
The Implementation Plan prepared in the Strategic Roadmap Action Plan at the Joint Stock Company is designed to introduce a new phase qualitatively in this area in order to increase the efficiency of the energy infrastructure and further modernize the transmission infrastructure by introducing the innovative technologies in this area.
