In February of this year, the issue of ensuring the reliability of the electricity system, which is an integral part of the sustainable development concept of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was taken into consideration and relevant works on infrastructure development were continued.

As a result of the effective work, consumers have been provided with durableand high quality electricityby "Azerenergy" OJSC, in accordance with their needs.

Thus, the volume of electricity produced by "Azerenergy" OJSC in February, 2019 was 1,921 billion kilowatt-hours.

It should be noted that this figure was 1,908 billion kilowatt-hours in February 2017.

During this period, the electricity exchange of the country’s energy system was mutually implemented with related countries.

In addition, relevant works onthe execution of the relevant positionsenvisioned in the near and distant future have been continuedin accordance with the Action Plan of the Strategic Road Map on the development of utility services (electricity and thermal energy, water and gas) in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and at the same time, by applying innovative technologies in subordinate enterprises, the modernization of the energy system was taken into consideration and in this regard, a number of measures were taken to inform the public about it.
