Special care and attention is paid to strict observance of occupational safety and technical safety rules at "Azerenergy" OJSC, where human factor prevails.

     The competition-review is organized each year in energy enterprises regarding the consequences of the work carried out to ensure healthy and safe working conditions, accident prevention, periodic medical examinations, safety techniques days, counter-accident exercises, implementation of annual nomenclature action plan on occupational safety, staff training and skills development.

          According to the relevant order of the management of “Azerenergy” OJSC, from the April of last year to the end of December, the 12th competition-review of occupational safety and security techniques was held at all energy enterprises. The competition-review was attended by 8 representatives of the Energy Production Department, 5 from the Department of Electricity Transmission, and two enterprises from other energy systems.

          During the year, the Joint Stock Company's Occupational Safety, technical and fire safety service inspected the enterprises to ensure that they meet the requirements of competition-review according to the rules. Information on the results of the competition was submitted to the relevant commission in March this year to determine the winners.

      On 22 May this year, The commission summed up the competition-review on the state of Occupational Safety and safety techniques in 2017 in the enterprises of the Joint Stock Company. The Commission analyzed the documents, information and references submitted by enterprises, evaluated the work done by the participants within the framework of the Regulations of competition-review.

        According to the unanimous decision on the results of the competition-review, "Azerbaijan" TPP LLC 1, "Sumgayit" PP LLC and "Sheki" PP LLC were awarded 2nd place at the enterprises of the Energy Production Administration. 1st place was taken by “Sumgayit” HVEN LTD, and the 2nd place was taken by "Shirvan" REN LLC and "Ganja" REN LLC from the enterprises of the Electricity Transmission Department. From the field service enterprises, the "Militarized Security Group" LLC took 1st place and "Azerenergykomplekt" LLC was awarded 2nd place.
