According to the information given by “Tovuz Electric Network” to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, In accordance with an action plan to prepare for the season, to further strengthen the sustainability of the energy sector. Please note that over the past three months , the network staff 6-10/04 kV 10/06/04 - kV and transformer stations with reconstruction and repair work is carried out . In particular, the 5.6 -kilometer section of line of different types of repair work carried out and have been installed more than 230 new meters. At the same time, the 30 different types of transformer stations with a total capacity 11.4 MW were repaired transformer connected to the network 9.

It should be noted that in January of this year, 10.9 million kWh of electricity consumed , consumption of 204 thousand more than in the same period last year . Compared with the same period last year growth was recorded . In particular , the constant private consumer group was used by 6.4 million kWh of electricity. Consumption compared to the same period last year increased by 1.3 million kWh, while the absolute increase of 8 percent. Incidentally, the total consumption in 2013 compared to the same period in 2012 , a decrease of 130.8 million kWh to 1.4 million kWh. The absolute increase was 2 percent. In particular , the consumption of the population was 54,2 million  kWh. As a result , consumption 4 million kWh compared to 2012, the payment increased by 7 percent.

The source also said that breaking the rules of electric power enterprises in January during a raid on 65 violations of the rule of electricity consumers. Discovered violations of rules were acted and 190400 kW allowed electricity was restored to 23 manat use value. It should be noted that during the raids carried out during 2013 more than 635 violations of rule of electric power consumers .
