All technical measures are implemented in time for the units of “Astara power plant”   (EN) with supplying of the most modern technology as at all energy systems of the republic. At present, the units are operated in accordance to the dispatch graphic.

The power plant is normally operating since put into operation till today (01.06.2013), 2 milliard 366 million kWh electric   energy was produced. According to the information given by the power plant to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, 21,3 million kWh electric energy was produced in May of the current year by the collective. Lets` noted that, the enterprise plays the main role in energy supply of  the consumers. So that, 116,8 million kWh electric energy was produced there during mentioned period.

It should be noted that to increase the efficiency of the equipment, transmission and distribution of energy in order to ensure sustainable and stable operation of power as a result of targeted measures to improve the level of production was achieved in other technical indicators.

The source also said that over the past three months, in accordance with the operational limit of 6 units and four units of the repair work, maintenance work was carried out in various types of chimneys. At the same time the spring-summer flood protection measures at the station, including the construction of collector-drainage network has been associated with the project estimates.

According to other information received from the source of supply, quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers transfer station staff work hard and take an active part in the maintenance of units.

Finally, it should be noted that in preparation for the summer season due to the enhanced security measures against fire. To do this, the initial fire engines were examined, the discovery of defects were prevented. Generators  were ready to use. In general, the fire danger on a regular basis, and found objects to display the smallest defects are eliminated.

The state program was put into operation in order to improve the energy supply of the region consists of 10 units at the power plant with a total capacity of 87 MW.
