Taken all systematical  steps in the line   of improving of economy makes opportunity for stabile and regular work regime of electric energy system. So that,  some important public programs were also implemented in Sumgait. By the way, Sumgait power plant by 525 MW is supporting of energy safety of Sumgait city and Absheron peninsula. In additional it plays the main role in supplying of energy transmission and distribution systems.

According to the information given by mentioned enterprise to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, the power plant is operated under the dispatch graphic during 4 months of the current year and about 1 milliard 3,1 million kWh electric energy was produced there.

Lets` noted that, about 210,6 million kWh electric energy was produced in April of the current year.

High results were achieved as a result of purposeful measures in the line of increasing of the equipments` work productivity, stability of energy transmission and distribution system.

Under the information given by the source about repair work, modification work was operated at the bank pump station during 3 months of the current year. At the same time, construction of “Yashma” TL was over and at present, enlarging of the territory is continued. The equipments were maintenance checked out for saving of optimal work regime.

It should be noted that, fire safety is also in the center of the attention as at other energy objects. Workshops, administrative and subsidiary buildings were supported with fire extinguisher equipments. The territory was cleaned of dry grass.

Lets` remind that, this power plant is consisting of two gas turbines each power by 164 MW and one steam turbine by 189 MW was constructed.
