Last year is a year of much more carried out measures in the history of the network. So that, s/s number 135 was constructed at the territory of network which supplied approximately 50 % of Sumgait. Two transformers were constructed at “Kimyachilar” s/s which plays the main role in feeding of the city. Transformer by 40 and 60 MVA were changed with the ones by

80 MVA there. One more transformer by 16 MVA was constructed at Sitalchay s/s.

According to the information given by Sumgait High Voltage Electric Network (HVEN) to the Press – release of Azerenergy JSC, process of  changing of accumulator batteries is continuing at s/s. for this purpose, Poland production 5 set accumulators were brought.  They were constructed at number 135, Sitalchay, Kimachilar, number 83 and Jeyranbatan s/s.

Lets` noted that, 2 oil circuit breakers were substituted with modern type ones from Siemens and ABB companies at Senaye Govshaghi   s/s which takes important role in energy supply of the city. 11oil circuit breakers were also substituted. About 30 % of the cables were also substituted with modern type ones. And it plays important role in increasing of stability.

About 400 meter cable lines were totally renewed at Sumgait – 2 s/s. By the way,  construction of third transformer was supplied for increasing of stability at number 83 s/s of Absheron peninsula.
