Carried out all measures in the line of   regular and   stabile development of energy system give its positive results at all spheres of  economy. Interesting measures are carried out in the line of solving of this problem. Purposeful measures were implemented at the republic energy system. By the way, these type of measures were implemented at Sumgait – the second industrial city of the republic. Sumgait power plant total power by 525 MW is one of these type of projects. Power plant takes the main part in strengthening of energy safety of Sumgait and Absheron peninsula. Power plant is operating under the dispatch graphic.

According to the information given by mentioned enterprise to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, about 2 milliard 26,1 million kWh electric energy was produced there during last year.

High results were achieved under technical – economical indicators as a result of carried out purposeful measures in the line of increasing of work stability of equipments, rising of exploitation level of energy transmission and distribution systems. Lets` noted that, about 277 million kWh  electric energy was generated in January of the current year.

Under other information given by the source, equipments were maintenance checked up for saving of optimal work regime during last three months of the current year.

It should be noted that, fire safety is also in the center of the attention as at other objects. Workshops, administrative and subsidiary buildings were supplied with fire extinguisher equipments. At the same time, some fire measures were implemented.

Lets` remind that, two gas turbines each power by 164 MW and two steam turbines each power by 189 MW were constructed  and most modern type equipments are put into operation. 6,5 km two “Senaye Govshaghi”  and “Yashma” TL by 220 kV were put into operation. This power plant is commissioned with Absolute Development Mechanism principle.
