Some of projects belonging to 2012 year were finished, execution of some of them were continued.

According to the information given by Energy Production Management to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, measures in the line of increasing of power of  new generation is continued. Construction of the second stream – gas installation by 409 MW at “Shimal power plant” founded on 21 st September, 2011 and strengthening of executing of “Shimal – 2” project are one of important measures. Stability of electric energy of Baku, Baku around territories, Absheron peninsula will be much more increased as a result of realizing of this project. Foundation measures is going to be end there. All equipments intended to use have been already brought to the territory.

Construction of   “Fizuli Hydro Power Plant” by 25  MW on December 15 is one of main events. This power plant will be supply energy support of the region.

Opening of   “Urva – 1” little hydro power plant was happened at the north region on December 20.  This power plant will be play main role in improving energy supply of some residents.

Construction measures are going to be end, at “Janub Power Plant” by 780 MW which is selected with its huge during last years. At present, measures are in the line of mending. Put into operation of power plant is intended in a few period.

Necessary measures are realized in the line of improving of potential of hydro power plant. There type of measures were implemented at “Mingachevir” HPP by 400 MW and at “Varvara” HPP by 16,5 MW. The main purpose is increasing of exploitation level.
