“Shirvan Regional Electric Network” (REN) is surrounds of  southern region, some territories of Central Aran. REN totally services 11 regions.

According to the information given by Regional enterprise to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, loads of measures were operated in order to improve exploitation level of electric network during last period. Repair – restoration work periodically implemented at the lines. In general, there are a lot of work to be done under the networks  and they are demanded big invention. Process in the line of it will be realized in the next year.

Lets` noted that, reconstruction work are implemented at the networks at the territory where serviced REN during last period.

Construction of smart – card type meters were carried out for about 55 thousand consumers. Networks by 0,4 kV are substituted with SIL type cables. And it plays positive   role in paying of value of electric energy and also in the line of decreasing of losses. These type of measures are operated at the villages and settlements.

Lets` noted that, repair process of  transformers are much more fastened. The main purpose  is  to eliminate any indispositions during winter season. For this purpose reserve transformer base was organized. Loads of measures are operated in the line of it. Controlling of  power centers, installing of additional lines are included to these type measures. Carried out measures in the line of it is carrying out of constant character.
