At present , using of alternative and restored energy sources are in the center of the attention of all the world. This issue is actual in the line of eliminating of global ecological problems and saving of environment. In general, hydro power plant play the main role in supplying of the republic consumers with electric power, by the way, in the  line of pick power. And increasing of attention to these objects, supplying of work regime are main orders. One of these type of objects is “Shamkir Hydro Power Plant Chain”.

According to the information given to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, 858,1 million kWh electric power was produced there during 11 months of the current year. From this capacity, 597,9 million kWh was generated by “Shamkir” HPP, 260,2 million was produced by “Yenikend” HPP. By the way, 49,6 million kWh  electric energy was generated under the enterprise  in November of the current year. 34,1 million kWh was produced by “Shamkir”, 15,5 million was generated by “Yenikend” HPP.

Lets` noted that, 1 milliard 271,1 million kWh electric energy was generated during 11 months of the current year. From this, 908,5 million kWh was produced by Shamkir HPP 362,6 million kWh was produced by Yenikend HPP. By the way, 69,7 million kWh electric power was produced under the enterprise in November of last year. 48,7 million was produced by Shamkir HPP, 21 million kWh was produced by Yenikend HPP.

It should be noted that, energy production was decreased in comparison with last year during mentioned period. Decreasing of water quantity to water storehouse of Shamkir hydro power plant if the season of this process. As a result of it, energy production was 413 million kWh during 11 months, by the way, 20,1 million kWh in November.

Under the information given by the source about intended repair – restoration measures, maintenance repair work was implemented at each hydro units by 19 MW of Shamkir HPP. Beside it, prophylactic control was carried out at equipments and installation of HPP.

Maintenance repair work was implemented at 4 hydro units each power by 37,5 MW at Yenikend HPP during mentioned period.

By the way, technical maintenance are implemented at both power plants by efficient specialists. All the equipments are in the center of the attention. Lets` remind that,  Shamkir and Yenikend HPP are belonging to the chain.
