About 1,6 milliard kWh electric power was generated at the state energy system in June of the current year. From this capacity, 1,4 milliard kWh was produced by thermal power plants (TPP), 0,2 milliard was generated by hydro power plants (HPP).

It was noted in the information given by Central Dispatch Office of the Joint Stock Company to the Press – release of Azerenergy JSC.

Beside it, electric energy exchange was carried out with neighboring countries – Russion  Federation, Turkey, Georgia and Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the information given by the source, more than 11,1 milliard kWh electric power was produced during 6 months of the current year. By the way, about 9,9 milliard kWh was produced by TPP, more than 1,2 milliard was generated by HPP.
