For purpose of providing competitive ability of the economy based on sustainable economic development of Azerbaijan Republic, development process based on satisfaction of different needs of the society and improvement social welfare, on 6th December of the last year, the President of Azerbaijan Republic, Mr. Ilham Aliyev has signed the Decree on “Confirmation of Strategic Road Map for the National Economy and main economy sectors”.

Strategic Road Map: “In the result of attraction of the investments under global appeals, free competition environment, entrance to the markets and development of human resources, the position of Azerbaijan economy will be increased and it will enter to the group of high-income countries”. In accordance with national view, priorities, measures and indicators had been determined in Strategic Road Map.

Public Relations and Press Service of “Azerenerji” JSC informs that for qualitative implementation of duties and functions arising from Strategic Road Map, it is carried out process for strengthening of staff potential and establishing reserve staff in Head Office of Joint-Stock Company, also its subordinate entities. These activities are realized in parallel and they complete each other.

Since, in the result of measures realized in last years, new technologies and modern equipments satisfying international standards had been applied in power system. This requires appropriate theoretical knowledge and high professional training from each worker.

At present, Azerenerji JSC via the competition continues recruitment of the specialists, knowledge level of which satisfies requirements of modern technologies and management principles of power system.

Approximately 2.2 billion kWh of electricity has been produced in the power system of the country in January 2017.

"Azerenerji" JSC’s Central Dispatching Department informed about it to the Public Relations and Press Service.

The volume of electricity produced by "Azerenerji" JSC was 2.164 billion kWh.

Moreover, within the month, it has been continued power exchange with neighboring countries.

It must be noted that 2.05 billion kWh electricity has been produced in January of last year.
