With the decree of The President of Azerbaijan Republic which named “Confirmation of The Strategic Road Map about National economy and sectors of it”. Like others, “Azerenerji” JSC has stepped forward new milestone and actions suits to the Strategic Road Map at the same time.

In the plants, substations and transmission lines of “Azerenerji” JSC complex action plan about re-construction, substantial and routine repair works for preparing winter-autumn season of 2017/2018 has been continuing. These are the parts of prior actions like increasing quality of distribution and transmission of electricity, diminishing loss of electricity, enhance e efficiency of the power plants and available potentials in the framework of the Strategic Road Map with regard to development of public utilities services (electricity and thermal power, water and natural gas).

In the last period of this year, 330 kW open switchgear of “Mingachevir” HPP and “Varvara” HPP reconstructed, 1,5 MW “Balaken” and 1,6 MW “Ismayilli 2” small hydro power plants have put into operation.

Substantial repair of energy block in “Azerbaijan” TPP and “Shirvan” TPP, steam-gas equipment of “Sumqait” PP and “Canub” PP had inspected systematically. Inspection to steam-gas turbine of 405 MW   “Shimal 1” power plant has been planned.

In substations with 110-500 kW capacity equipment substantially repaired according to confirmed schedule. 93 transformers, 314 gas-insulated switches, 268 vacuum insulated switchgear have substantially repaired. Replacement of old and obsolescence equipment with new technologies, modern security system, and instalment of management and automation panels are continuing.

For determining weaknesses of equipment and eliminate them 130 transformers and autotransformers, 377 various type of switches, 741 surge arresters, 489 current and high voltage transformers have been inspected.

10 kW switchgear of autotransformer №3 put into operation in “Absheron” 500 kW substation.

More than 525, 7 km 110-500 kW transmission lines had substantially repaired.  Construction of 200 kW “Shimal” PP- “Zabrat” substation and “Shimal” PP- “Hovsan” substation transmission lines will finish soon.

Special commission of “Azerenerji” JSC in November will evaluate qualification of the institutions to autumn-winter period and the commission will give certificate to them.
