In Azerbaijan Republic large-scaled projects, which realized in all sectors of economy, resulted in development of power system. It had been motivation for effective performance of “Azerenerji” JSC which is the biggest producer of electricity in South Caucasus.  “Azerenerji” JSC with implementing its function in time and efficiently, putting innovations into practice at its plants, security of grid was kept in focus.

“Azerenerji” JSC provided qualitative, continuous and intransigent electric power to its customers during 2017

“Azerenerji” JSC has produced 21,8 billion kWh electricity in the last year.

20,2 billion kWh of this energy was produced by thermal plants, 1,6 billion kWh by hydro power plants. (Note that, reason of low productivity in hydro power plants is less rainy days during the year.)

Within this period, the country has realized power exchange mutually with the neighboring countries, which have common energy grid.

At the same time, in the framework of Strategic Road Map for development of public utilities (electricity, thermal energy, gas and water) events have been continuing with the purpose of diminishing losses of electricity and increasing effectiveness of transmission.
